a picture of me and Shea

This picture was taken on December 14 at something called Rider Recognition week. Janet took this after I got my award as you can see. I got it for improved trunk control which is an accomplishment in itself considering I have very low muscle tone in my trunk. I can't believe how much I've changed in the past 6 years with this girl. The best 6 years of my life. I know I've said this before but I really attribute this to falling off almost 1 year ago.. ) That is seriously the best thing that could've happened to me.

Laguna Hills Mall

I went to the Laguna Hills Mall today. It was very rainy but worth it. Janet treated me to a movie. We saw True Grit, which I have to say is a good movie but I wouldn't recommend to anybody who has a startle reflex. Trust me for anybody who has seen it you know that every other scene has somebody shooting a gun. I was jumping practically every two seconds. If I had to pick a good movie it would have to be Little Fockers. The sequels continue if I have anything to say about it. Love it, love it, love it.

Signing off for now

Great Park

I went to The Great Park today with my aide Janet. Unfortunately, come to find out, it was still under construction. So needless to say the driver had to drive us back home. The decieving thing was the brochure. It made it look like it was all done when all that was there when we got there was dirt and mud and streets to cross but no sidewalks. I couldn't believe we went for nothing. I should've taken some pictures to put up. I'll take some pictures of the training though and put them up. When I get the chance I'll take some pictures of the outside of the facility and the inside like the dorm room and the training room.

New dog

Well I got accepted to Canine Companions to get a new dog!! I can't wait. Team training starts on January 31 and continues until Febuary 11. I'm staying in a dorm with my mom and my aide is going to drive back and forth. No joke, this facility looks like a resort!! Not only does it have dorms but it also has a place to bathe the dogs and dry them. Not only do they have a blow dryer but they also have doggie dryers. It's a two week program that I cant wait to start. I'll post some pictures of the campus and the dorm when I get the chance.
